Early Again
Today started out at 4AM with a very chipper Lindsey. That’s what happens when she falls asleep early. We had breakfast together and then she played for a bit while I dug into email. Later on, when the rest of the crew was awake, we had some schoolwork.
After school I’d been expecting a fairly light work day. Turned out that my clients had other plans for me; one in particular wanted some emergency help preparing for a demo even though they’d put us on budget freeze. We worked out terms and then I rolled up my sleeves and dug in. I pretty much coded right through the day with a break for dinner.
Dinner was simple: hot dogs, french fries, corn, salad. That worked out OK for the kids, and Dana was out to karate anyhow.
After dinner, I worked for a bit, put kids to bed, and worked some more. The last couple of hours was punctuated with trying to de-virus Lindsey’s computer, which had unfortunately gotten hit pretty hard. Finally crashed around 11, thoroughly worn out.
