Tax Day
Monday and tax return day (for a bunch of business returns) – a double hit of fun. I spent the first four hours of the day dealing with tax stuff, but at least Dana volunteered to do the post office run so I didn’t have to. Instead, I worked with kids on their school stuff until about lunchtime.
Needless to say, it was not the most productive coding day ever. I did get a little work in, but it was just around the edges of desk cleanup and dealing with clients and subcontractors. Oh well, it’s still a living.
Dinner tonight was seafood: shark meat for the kids (which is unaccountably a special treat for them, salmon for Dana, seafood for me). We had couscous, corn, and salad on the side.
After dinner, I pretty much hit the wall and gave up trying to do anything productive.
