Weekend with Sick Kids
Seems like every time we turn around, someone is snuffling. The kids have all been through fevers and mild coughs the last few days, and although it’s just a summer cold, it’s annoying – and they’re getting bored. Dana spent an hour doing art projects with them this morning, which helped a bit.
Meanwhile, I worked on the new RailsBridge site (almost done!) and spent a while on paying customers as well. I also pushed out a new revision of the Rails Rescue Handbook ebook, so it was actually a fairly busy day for me.
Its still been super hot outsidek as well. I harvested the last of the garlic today, since it was all dying back anyhow.
We had ground beef “stroganoff” today, along with noodles and peas and salad. Not the kids favorite meal, but most of them managed to eat some anyhow.
