Early Day
Lindsey was awake at 4AM because her bladder was just a bit too full. But she was wide awake, so we got up and came downstairs, where she had breakfast and TV, and I had breakfast and email.
When all the other kids were up, we started in on morning schoolwork. I’m slowly adding more classes back into the mix, with the hopes of getting us back to a normal schedule by the end of the week. I’ve realized how much I’ve appreciated having time off myself, but it’s just something that has to be done.
Otherwise, this was mainly a working day. One project is preparing for a release, another is just moving along, and there’s more work to do on marketing the ebook. So I managed to stay reasonably busy.
Dana and Adam went off to karate class tonight. The rest of us had hot dogs, salad, corn, and couscous for dinner. After dinner, the kids played outside for a bit, since the heat was finally starting to moderate for the day, and then had a round of baths.
