New Project
Up at 5, for no good reason except to not have the kids wake me up. As usual, both the little ones were up before 6. We had a normal day of schoolwork today. Thomas continues to do well with phonics and simple addition. Kayla learned about multiplying negative numbers, and we started a new reading book. I introduced Adam to formal logic, in the hopes of giving him something a bit more challenging to do in the mornings.
After schoolwork, my day until lunch was filled with writing. After lunch, I settled down and started working on some backend changes for a new chunk of work for one of my continuing clients. I also threw up a temporary new site for Larkfarm; at some point I’ll start refreshing the content there, though probably not roll the old content back out.
Dana and Adam were off to karate tonight; the younger kids had hot dogs while I ate a pulled pork sandwich.
After dinner, one of the WWD articles (not by me) hit the Yahoo front page, and I had fun IM’ing with our editor and keeping track of the traffic flood. That amused me until it was bedtime for all.
