Swings (Saturday, May 10, 2008)

I was up too early this morning, but then, so was Thomas. He certainly hasn’t developed the habit of sleeping in on weekends….

Javascript. Bah. (Friday, May 9, 2008)

Started off my day at 6 as usual. We had the last schoolday of the week, which was good. Well, the last formal schoolday. There are always learning opportunities. Meanwhile, one of our landscapers was here, planting a few things and hauling compost to my new raised beds out front. ...

Herb Shopping (Thursday, May 8, 2008)

Ultimately the kids made about six bucks each from their lemonade and donut stand – and that only because their parents bought back excess stock at wholesale prices. But it was a good learning experience for them. Dana got rid of some stuff and made a few bucks too….

Garage Sale (Friday, May 2, 2008)

I was up a bit before 6AM today. So was Dana, which is a bit unusual. But today was the big neighborhood garage sale, and whoever was in charge of it decreed that it run from 7AM to 2PM….

Playset Arrrives (Thursday, May 1, 2008)

I got up early so I could relax in the shower for a bit before the appearance of children. I keep telling myself that some day they’ll be able to take care of themselves in the mornings and my sleep schedule can become more sane. Not sure I really believe this, though….
