I was up about 6AM, followed by Lindsey at 7 and the rest of the household in due course. After getting most of my morning web stuff done, the first order of business was what proved to be a horrid horrid web demo of someone’s software. They did not make an astoundingly good first impression.

It’s been a fairly uneventful few days. We had another batch of people come to look at the house who said they liked it and claimed they wanted to put down an offer, but word from our realtor is that they don’t seem to be financially credible. So it goes….

Must have been a blue moon or something; the kids all conspired to let me sleep in till nearly 7:30 this morning. So my morning web work was correspondingly late, but that’s OK, there were no particular deadlines involved….

The morning was filled with the usual morning stuff, including getting my inbox empty again. Business at least seems to be moving along at a relatively steady state right now….

I got up with Lindsey 6:30ish and got through the usual morning routine reasonably quickly. After a bit of skull sweat coming up with a Web Worker Daily piece (the “daily” part of the schedule continues to be an occasional challenge), I got the older three kids dressed and herded them out to the minivan….

Thomas has actually been sleeping past 7AM the last few days. I’d like to think this is part of a new pattern but it’s probaby just a fluke….

Lindsey had me up around 5Am today, but that ended up being a good thing: it meant that I plopped my butt in front of the computer and started cranking out code. With all the running around last week, I didn’t get in a lot of billable hours during the week….

Lindsey had a very bad night, full of thrashing and wakefulness. This was not very good for my ability to sleep either, but of course Thomas got up at 6:30 as usual so it was up and at ’em bright and early. Or at least foggy and early….

I was back at my desk just before 6 this morning. After the usual round of Webbish things, I turned the kids over to Dana and went outside to finish untethering the RV from its various umbilicals and making sure that all of its various hatches were closed and locked.

Monday morning and back at it again. With Kala turning five, we started in on a beginning history book this morning during homeschool time. She seems a bit uncertain about this but hopefully it will grow on her….
