Tumbling

Dana was off to a Girl Scout meeting bright and early, so I kept the schoolwork light this morning. We’re not so much having a summer vacation as a summer cutback, but whatever, on the days that we do less the kids are content to run around and play. And they still read, so it’s all good.

I fed the crew a snack around 11 and then we all want out for Lindsey’s tumbling class. She did fine, and then I took them all with me for the weekly grocery shopping. Even though this meant a very late lunch, everyone was well-behaved in the store, which made me happy.

Then I finally got settled down to do some work for the day. Didn’t write a line of code even though I worked through till about 9:30PM (with a break to make a spaghetti dinner). But I got plenty of management done, and hopefully have a plan for shipping our big application at the end of the month.
