Library Time
For today’s schoolwork we made a trip to the local library. The kids always enjoy this, and today we came home loaded with books about ancient Greece, Roman mythology, Lewis and Clark, and other goodies. That’ll take care of the next few days academics for sure.
When we got home, Dana turned right around and took the kids to a playdate at the Y, meeting some friends for swimming. I took a pass on that one so I could spend a few hours on the phone. The work week definitely heated up today, and I’m spending most of my hours managing as per usual. I did manage to sneak in some coding time after dinner, but I suspect it’s time to delegate even more of that to other people.
Dana was out to dinner and a movie with a friend tonight. The rest of us had chicken, rice, and pears for dinner, together with a giant spinach salad for me. After I got the kids in bed, I stayed up another hour chasing deployment issues on one of our projects, finally knocking off for bed when Dana got home.
