Scouts Again
Did not sleep well at all last night; ended up awake at 3:30 AM, after which I managed to toss fitfully on the couch for an hour or so until Lindsey decided it was time to start her morning as well. Some day I may get this insomnia under control but this was not the day.
Put time in on a few codebases this morning and helped kids out with school until about 11AM, which was the start of phone call season for today. I ended up on the phone for most of the afternoon, with just enough break to grab a peanut butter sandwich for lunch. I guess everyone is back from their holiday weekend.
I wrote a bit of code in the afternoon, and scrounged up a salad for dinner. This evening was the Cub Scout committee meeting for the month, which was held in a local restaurant that was far too noisy for everyone to actually hear each other. Hopefully we’ll find somewhere different next month.
Got home and had a bit more food, then wrote software until Dana and the kids came home from karate, at which point I was pretty well done for the night.
