Birthday Party
It was time for another birthday party – Thomas’s birthday is Monday, but he had his party today so that some other kids could make it. So we opened family presents in the morning, and then schlepped over to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and more party.
Apart from being a loud place I hate to be at, it wasn’t too bad today. All of our kids have reached the point where they can navigate that place without parental supervision, and there were enough adults helping to make the party part go smoothly. Still took a big chunk out of the middle of my day, but birthday parties are important.
The rest of the day went for relaxation, recovery, and a bit of coding. Dana was off to a movie with karate folks tonight, and the kids had hot dogs, couscous, and corn for dinner (Thomas’s choice).
