More Running Around
Up early again for a bit of work before another fun day of running around. Sure is nice that the kids are in camp so we can relax a bit.
This morning I took Kayla out to her camp, and Adam came along for the ride. Then Adam and I checked out a little park on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. We talked some about the geology of the area and bushwhacked our way down to the river, though the only rocks in the area have all been pulverized to sand.
Back home, I had about enough time to catch up on email before it was time to spend another two hours on the phone. Then a quick break and it was off to pick Kayla up.
I did have one more thing planned for the day – Cub Scout committee meeting – but it had a change of venue at the last moment (we’d planned to meet outside until hideous thunderstorms swept through) to a spot where I didn’t think I could keep Thomas occupied, so I skipped it. Dana took Adam and Lindsey both to karate tonight, and I fed the other two leftovers, worked a bit more, and crashed as early as I could.
