Summer Camp Time
I was up early this morning and got a bit of work done before dawn. Just as well, because much of the day was taken up with running around as our first week of serious summer camps got underway.
After breakfast, Dana took Kayla and Adam out while I took Thomas and Lindsey. Dropped Lindsey at the zoo for her half-day camp (her first day of camp ever, and she was super-excited about it). Then Thomas and I went to the pet store to pick up half a dozen neon tetras for the fish tank, and made a quick grocery stop as well.
Got home in time to catch up on email and then spent two solid hours on conference calls. This resulted in me having a very late lunch. Somewhere in there, Dana picked up Lindsey. I got off the phone, ate, wrote a tiny bit of code, and went out to pick up Kayla. The two of us bounced at home for half an hour (I snuck in a nap) and then went to Kayla’s tumbling class, where she did very well this week.
We got home to pizza that Dana had ordered for dinner, and then I managed to do some more serious work after dinner – including two more phone calls with clients – before finally crashing for the night.
