Garden Time

After the family was up and breakfasted, Adam and I headed out for a small bit of shopping. It’s Pinewood Derby time for the scouts again, and we needed some tools and paint (as well as a few other odds and ends). Fortunately his pack has rules prohibiting the various silly aftermarket speed parts, so we don’t have to get too crazy to have a shot at winning.

After that was done and he was off to play computer games, I settled down to write some code. It was a mildly productive day, working out launch kinks for one project and moving forward on a few others. Nothing spectacular though.

I also got out to spend a few more minutes in the back garden. We may yet get some more nasty weather, but while it’s nice I’m trying to at least clear out weeds. Then will come the exciting fun of seeing which of the plants we wanted to keep actually made it through the winter.

Dinner tonight was sloppy joes with fruit cocktail. Kids pretty much hoovered it up.
