Endodontist Visit

It was a pretty typical Monday today – which is to say, there was one interruption after another, I never got into the zone at all, but somehow I still managed to survive and even write a tiny bit of code.

The morning started off as usual, but at 9AM it was time for a quick visit to my endodontist. This was the followup for the root canals I’d had six months ago, and those teeth at least got a clean bill of health. After that it was back home for mostly butt-in-chair time the rest of the day. Kids had already started schoolwork with mom; I took over around noon and ran them through the rest of their classes.

There was a client demo at 2PM and another phone call in there as well. It seems that everyone wants status reports on Monday. And everyone wants things finished by the first of hte month, so things are piled up right now. Made some commitments to deliver by Tuesday night that I’m not 100% sure I can keep, but we’ll see.

Dana took Kayla off to tumbling class, and I made dinner – by request, meat loaf, biscuits, green beans, and salad. Kids actually like meat loaf, go figure.
