Time Passes

The morning passed in a flurry of schoolwork and email, as mornings generally do around here. The kids had a reasonably good day, though not a fabulous one. Still, can’t expect them to be cheerful and efficient about schoolwork all the time; I certainly wasn’t.

I bounced back and forth among various projects over the course of the day, and somehow lots of things got done despite a higher-than-usual interruption rate. There are some deadlines coming up at the end of this week that are sort of iffy, but I think we can keep the clients happy.

I got lazy for dinner tonight and we had pizza for the kids while the adults scrounged leftovers. Nobody seemed to much mind. It was our last day on Rinkitink of Oz at bedtime; we’ve now finished the first ten Oz books. I’d estimate we’ll get through the whole canon in another three years or so. I worked a bit more after getting kids in bed and then called it a night.
