New Year Groceries
This morning went almost entirely for catching up on paperwork. It does have a way of piling up, and there are no paperwork elves here to protect me from it. Even more fun, my accountant called with a discussion of year-end numbers (2009 wasn’t as bad a year as it felt, but it sure wasn’t great either). Next step, January 15 tax deposits.
That, and homeschooling, got us through to lunchtime. After lunch, we all packed into the car and ventured out into the cold wastes for grocery shopping. Kids were well-behaved in the store and ended up with treats to bring home. I finally got some code written in the afternoon, though far less than I would have liked to.
Dana took off for karate, and I fed pizza to the kids. Well, to three of them; Kayla was feeling poorly and put herself to bed before dinner. I made sure she had a bucket nearby, just in case.
After dinner, wrote some more code, then read Mo stories to three kids and put myself to bed as well.
