Out to dinner
A no-school day, of course, but I was up early anyhow because my back was unhappy. So it was that I was writing code before 5 in the morning. I just kept going right through lunch, interspersing code with a bunch of bookkeeping and desk cleanup, and got a lot done – though of course there’s always more to do.
It remained pretty cold today, and snow was piled on the ground. Lindsey decided to go out and play in it for a while, but the other kids preferred to stay inside where it’s warm.
For dinner, we took the whole family out. The plan was to try the new pizza joint in town, but it was mobbed despite the weather, so we ended up at the Red Robin instead, which is safely un-busy now that the opening crush there is past.
After dinner, I did the monthly billing, put kids to bed, and called it a day.
