Back on the early shift
Mostly today was about code again, though there were a couple of breaks. I was up at 4AM (insomnia + achiness), so I actually got a few hours of coding in before school time. Eventually the kids joined me, and we mosied on through our regular round of classes. They actually had a short day today, because Dana is down with a cold.
After lunch, I took a break from coding and headed over to WalMart for a quick shopping run. I’ve agreed to co-lead the Webelos den this week to help them through their “scientist” badge, so it was time to pick up balloons and index cards and candles and other things with which to do a few simple experiments.
For dinner tonight, I made jambalaya (with a side of hamburgers for those kids who can’t stand tomatoes) with salad and green beans. After dinner, had to run back out to the grocery store for a few prescription refills. Two trips in the truck today was enough; my arm was achier by bedtime than it’s been lately.
Worked along on a few more coding tasks after kids were in bed, but eventually called it a day and crashed once again.
