Just Another Monday
This being Monday, of course, much of my time was taken up with simply managing things. There was email to answer, clients to review progress with, subcontractors to shuffle around. I did write a little bit of code, but it’s days like this I start to wish that the business wasn’t growing.
My part of schoolwork went well, but apparently that used up all the “good” that the kids had, because most of them dragged though Dana’s classes. Somehow we made it to lunch, and eventually everyone finished.
The afternoon was when I managed to write a little code, along with shuffling a bit more hardware – I moved out a dead UPS and brought in a replacement. Fortunately our number of connected computers has dropped enough that this was possible without buying more hardware.
For dinner, I made grilled chicken, salad, peas, and rice. Easy meal, and one that the kids all like (especially the chicken). Nothing much happened after that; Dana went out to a movie with friends, I put kids to bed and called it a night myself.
