Paperwork Day

Today was mainly about paperwork. In addition to being the due date for quarterly tax deposits and some returns, the pile of things to file and call and mail and otherwise deal with on my desk had gotten completely out of hand. So I got up around 6 and dug in.

Kids are sleeping in more these days, so we weren’t really started on schoolwork until nearly 10AM. That’s OK, we’re homeschoolers, we can be flexible. Lindsey had a break in there to go to her tumbling class with mom.

I plodded on through the paperwork jungle until mid-afternoon, when I finally had a few minutes to dig into customer work. I didn’t get a lot done on that front before dinner (potato and sausage casserole, salad, green beans) but got back to it after and managed about 4 hours of billable work.

Dana was off to a late movie with friends; I put kids to bed and fought bugs later than usual before crashing myself. The arm pain is flaring up again so getting to sleep wasn’t easy.
