Groceries

I was planning an early morning grocery run today – and then for a change every single child slept until 7:30 or later. So instead I got some work done. The family gradually woke up, and by 9AM breakfasts were over.

Dana took Thomas and Lindsey to the Y, because Thomas was starting an athletics class. Meanwhile I headed out to the grocery store with the two older ones. We got back home around lunch, unloaded groceries, and ate.

The afternoon was pretty much for non-stop work. I’ve got multiple projects with deadlines in a week, and trying to pull together all of the pieces is getting challenging. I foresee a lot of project management and some coding this coming weekend.

This was Dana’s karate night, and she ate out. The kids had beef tips with rice and peas and enjoyed it. Sometimes the $7 packaged meal from the store is the answer.

Light exercise after I put the kids to bed: 10 minutes on the stationery bike, curls, leg lifts. I can’t do a whole lot more than that at this point.
