Day Camp
After my usual look at email, the morning started with bustling around to get Kayla ready for a day out – her first Girl Scout full-day camp. I dropped her in downtown Evansville around 8:30, and she was happy and excited – better, when Dana picked her up in the afternoon, she’d had a good day.
Meanwhile, I came home (via a quick stop at the bank) and did some light schoolwork with the other three, then went on into my own work. It was a pretty routine day on that front, some words and some code, and more casting about for another client.
When everyone was back home, I made up a quick dinner of hot dogs and mashed potatoes, and then spent the evening writing a bit more code.
Our bird feeder continues to attract more and more traffic – at one point today there were seven ducks and three rabbits out there. If we weren’t fussy we could have a nice stew.
