Too Long Day
I got out of bed at 4AM this morning with another bout of insomnia. This got me to the computer early, but made for an entirely too long day.
There was some distraction this morning, as it was neighborhood garage sale day and the older three kids ran a lemonade stand. They’d saved up money for supplies and gotten mom to help them set it up, but of course there was a lot of keeping an eye on them required. They did make a modest profit, but only because parents were willing to buy unsold inventory at the end of the day.
Meanwhile, I managed to get rid of a bunch of the most serious bugs in one project, and take a cursory look at another, as well as move the ebook along. So even though it wasn’t the most productive day ever, stuff got done.
For dinner, I made stuffed chicken breasts, crescent rolls, and corn. Kids though the main dish was good, though portions didn’t get finished, so I guess that’s a win.
Managed to keep going long enough to put kids to bed, then was asleep five minutes later myself.
