Still Kicking
It was a 5AM sort of morning, which put me at my desk safely before kids started waking up. I used the time to try to get back on top of things, cleaning out email and a bunch of stuff I had open in the browser for no particular reason. Organization never ends.
When Dana got up I made a quick trip to the grocery store for another week’s provisions. Then it was my share of schoolwork, which took until lunchtime.
After lunch, I wrote another few pages in the eBook I’m working on, and then spent time project managing and coding for a couple of clients. It was a pretty uneventful day.
For dinner, the kids got macaroni and cheese and ham slices, while the adults got a noodles and ham casserole with portobello mushrooms and capers, among other flavors. Thomas was the only one of the younger crowd to try the adult version, and he liked it just fine.
Bedtime is now one chapter from Sylvie and Bruno and one from The Wizard of Oz – we all like the latter somewhat more than the former, but we like the former well enough to be trying to figure it out.
