More of the same
It was back from dreamland to the real world at 5:30 this morning. There are times when dreamland seems a rather more interesting place to stay.
It was another day of muddling through. The kids have been having so much fun with electronics that I made their schoolwork revolve around it today, with some kit-building, spelling words, ohm’s law for math, and research into some of the major figures. They had fun, though I got a bit worn out by the extra work on my side.
Lindsey is slowly working her way into phonics – she recognizes half a dozen letters now, and is getting the hang of sounding out words.
After lunch, I settled down to write some words and some code. Nothing exceptional, though I also did a bunch of project management work to try to keep subcontractors going.
Dana and Adam were off to karate tonight. The rest of us had cheeseburgers and fries for dinner.
