Sick Kid
I seem to be slipping back into my early morning routine again; I was up about 4:45 this morning. The plan was to take all the kids out with me this morning, but unfortunately Kayla is spiking a fever so I stayed home with her and Dana took Thomas to day camp. Then she ran around for some errands and eventually brought him home at noon.
Meanwhile, I worked some on client work, took care of Kayla, and supervised other kids. After the family reunited and we all had lunch, I took Adam and Lindsey out shopping for birthday presents for Thomas. Then the three of us did the grocery shopping for the week.
I spent a good chunk of my coding time today working with Rails templates, a feature that I hadn’t hit heavily in the past. Ended up with a short list of enhancements that I should try to code. We’ll see if that actually happens.
Dinner was pizza for those who wanted it and leftovers for those (like me) who didn’t. After dinner I did some more work on a report for a client, since ActionRails promised a quick turnaround on this one.
