More Camp
Started off at my usual chipper hour with email and various children that needed feeding. Some of them also needed help getting ready to go off for a day: Thomas and Kayla are in half-day CMOE (Children’s Museum of Evansville) camp this week. Today Dana had a morning client meeting, so she handled both dropoff and pickup.
A lot of my morning went for sales, and it paid off a bit, with one new code review client for ActionRails. So that was OK, though I’m still sniffing around for another larger contract to take as well.
Wrote some code in the afternoon and then ran out to the grocery store and bank for a little bit. Dinner this evening was roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and salad – a simple meal that wasn’t a lot of effort.
Ran down after dinner again and spent a while just reading to myself before it was time to read more Oz to the kids.
