Back in the Saddle

I got out of bed around 4 this morning; I must have wrenched my neck somehow while I was lifting last night, as it just wasn’t comfortable to sleep at all. Fortunately this eased up over the course of the day, and the early start helped me get back on top of work.

I did a bunch of organization and email stuff to start out, and chatted with some other people I need to move things forward with. As usual I’m juggling a whole bunch of projects, but most of them are doing OK.

Got the staging server working on one site that’s supposed to deploy live next week, so that was good, and spent a bunch of the day writing code.

Kids went out to play at one point and then Lindsey came back in complaining of being chilly – turns out that the sprinklers were on and they hadn’t let this stop them. Well, what the heck, we let them play in the sprinklers.

Dinner was just leftovers; there were plenty that needed to be cleared out of the fridge.

Lindsey and Kayla both fell asleep early, so I had only boys for bedtime stories. It was back to Just So Stories for us and then I called it a night.
