hipping
Starting about 5:30, today was mainly a day to be hunched over the computer. With two different projects trying to get shipped, there was plenty of coding to do.
So, I spent most of the day splitting my time between two big Rails codebases, with significant chunks of my time going to a side writing project as well.
I did manage to get outside and do a little weeding and spread some compost, as well as water the garden. When I watered the front beds I spooked a rabbit out from under some of the squash plants; apparently the little monster has taken up residence.
I took time to make us a decent dinner; maple-mustard glazed pork loin, couscous, green beans. This proved to be one of the rare meals that was both appealing to adults and eaten by kids, so I’ll have to remember the recipe for the future.
Put the kids to bed at their usual hour, then shipped out a new site version for one client, did the dishes, exercised, and called it a night.
