Another Karate Night
I was up at 5AM – tired, but knowing that another 90-minute sleep cycle would never happen. Sure enough, Thomas and Lindsey joined me within the hour, though the older two kids slept till around 8 for a change. The usual schoolwork filled my morning. These days, that means: current events, food and nature videos for both of the older kids, math (multiplication), spelling, history (Roman empire) and reading for Kayla, and math (distributive law), history (Jacques Cartier), and independent reading/comprehension for Adam, a science experiment (rainbows from water) for everyone, and math (addition/subtraction) and phonics/reading for Thomas.
My day alternated between writing code and doing some sysadmin work on various sites. I was in a bit of a lull because the other devs at my major client were tied up in meetings all day.
Dana and Adam were out for their usual Tuesday night karate. The rest of us had pizza for dinner and a movie afterwards.
