Scratching

We ended up having a light schoolwork day today; Dana decided to go to the group scrapbooking session for the week, and most of the kids went along to play with other kidlets. Fine with me; this gave me more time for my Monday catchup. Inevitably I didn’t get much work done today. Mondays are like that, mostly because everyone else comes back after two days away and tries to get moving again.

I spent part of today scratching for more work; hours are looking a bit light for this month. Fortunately one of my clients came through with a mini-project that should fill up a few days nicely. I spent a while on the phone sorting out details.

A lot of today went for working on an open-source code project, to get my name out there attached to some code.

For dinner, I just hauled out some leftovers. The main focus was on the side dish, though, as Adam made us a baked potato bar – the result of one of his cooking classes. Everyone approved.

Bench-pressed 80 pounds tonight as part of my workout. That’s not much, but it’s more than I could do a month ago.
