More Summer Camp
I was up at 5AM on my own this morning. Even when the kids might let me sleep in, my body doesn’t. There was no school this morning, because Adam and Kayla are in another summer camp for the week – this time at the Mesker Park Zoo. I fed everybody breakfasts and packed lunches for the older two, and then mom drove them crosstown.
Thomas and Lindsey were disappointed at being left home, but they got over it with studious application of a movie. Thomas is suddenly determined to be a big boy – as he’s been using the potty consistently the last few days, he was put into underwear today (and made it through the whole day without an accident).
At lunchtime, Dana took the little ones out for lunch. I stayed home to watch the WWDC keynote and write it up for WWD.
Most of my afternoon went for organizing things and cleaning up. There wasn’t much work today since the meeting I’d set aside time for got pushed off to tomorrow.
For dinner, I made tortellini with a couple of choices of sauce, salad, and mixed fruit.
After dinner, the day wound down in the usual fashion: bedtimes, weightlifting, and a bit of relaxation before I crashed.
