End of Another Month
I was up at 4:30 this morning so I could shower before the kids woke up. This also let me get a jump on the writing duties for the day, and I made good early progress on that. This is the second week of Zoo Camp for the two older kids, so I made them lunches and then shuttled them crosstown to Mesker Zoo. Thomas came along for the ride, and we did a bit of shopping afterwards, though he was rather fussy from not being able to go to camp this year himself.
We stopped at the local “Teachers Aid” store and picked up a couple more books for homeschooling purposes, and at the grocery store.
Back home, I did some miscellaneous programming for the rest of the day. The month ended on a reasonable note, with the big project moving ahead and giving me plenty more work for the rest of the week.
For dinner, I made chicken, couscous, fruit, and salad. Lindsey, alas, is having her turn with the illness we’ve been passing around; she threw up her dinner, although, at her age, this scarcely bothers her.
After dinner was for end of the month billings and a bit of exercise. I got to bed at a reasonable hour, but was up in the middle of the night helping clean up after the little one puked again.
