Mac Hospital
Got woken by the weather radio at 3:30 to report a tornado watch, but then went back to bed until 6AM. The MacBook still wouldn’t boot this morning, though at least I got the DVD out of it. We had an abbreviated morning schoolwork session, after which I tracked down the closest Apple service place (in Owensboro) and headed over to it. I had a nice little drive and left the MacBook to be diagnosed. Fortunately we have extended warranties on all of the Macs. Later they called to report bad RAM, should be fixed in a couple of days.
Back home, I grabbed a bite of lunch and coded for a while. Later in the afternoon Dana took Adam to karate, and the rest of us had our now-traditional pizza for dinner.
Kept on working after dinner and cleared one major issue out of my queue before it was time to put everyone to bed.
