Rounding out the Week

We took it easy on schoolwork this morning – didn’t start anything new, as they kids are about to have a week off for Zoo Camp. So that was done quickly and I was on to the usual round of writing and coding. Thomas was still pretty sick today. He spent a lot of time resting and some time throwing up. He’s still not whining about it though; a very stoic child. We got enough liquids into him that he’s not in any immediate danger, just feeling lousy.

My afternoon was mainly about writing code today. I also took a break to go and get the mail and grab a gallon of milk. We go through a lot of milk.

For dinner, I made ravioli with sauce, fruit, and salad. After dinner we went out to Sonic to grab some desserts. Thomas even managed to put away a bit of ice cream with no ill effects. When we got home, Kayla got invited next door to swim in the new (4’ high) pool. It took her a while to get in, but eventually she did. Pool was called in a bit on account of large thunderstorm.

Post-storm, I put the kids to bed, did some bench presses and other means of tormenting myself, and crashed.
