Back on the Net
Got up at 5:30 and found the internet humming along again; apparently it came back for us late last night. Then I set about the business of catching up after the lost day. Of course, there was still homeschooling to be done, with our usual grab bag of classes. Adam has reached the point of reading about Shakespeare in his history book, so today we tackled A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After discussing a plot summary for a while, we dove into the manga version. Kayla was interested too, so I guess we’ll be doing joint history for a couple of weeks.
After the kids were done, I spent a while writing, and then got back into coding for my main client these days. Didn’t get as much done as I’d hoped, but at least I didn’t fall any further behind.
Dana and Adam were off to karate tonight, and Kayla tagged along to watch. The smaller kids both napped late in the afternoon; I woke them up around 6 for pizza dinner.
After that it was about all I could do to keep up with email and then put kids and myself to bed.
