Father's Day
No breakfast in bed for me – as usual I woke up before the kids. They made me lunch (with mom’s help) though. Mostly Father’s Day was just another day for me. We did have a bunch of hugs and congratulations, and some presents to go with the new grill. This led me into the afternoon, when I fired up the smoker for the first time and spent a few hours making a smoked pork loin.
The meat turned out well – everyone liked it – and I served it for dinner, along with mashed potatoes and corn.
Other than that, I got some code written, relaxed and read a bit, and did my usual round of exercises.
