Day With Small Kids

I was awake just before 6 this morning – and just before Adam. He’s excited about zoo camp, which is good. After feeding kids breakfasts and making up a couple of lunches, I settled in at my desk for the day. Dana was running around most of the day (between camp and a client meeting and karate) so I had the two little ones to take care of. Fortunately they spent most of the day playing nicely together.

I spent a lot of time on the phone with one client today, getting work lined up for the next couple of weeks. Then I dug in and started some of it. So it was a reasonably productive day for a change.

For dinner, the three of us who were home had grilled cheese sandwiches and corn. I got the two little ones to bed around 10:30 – Lindsey is finally getting to the stage where she can actually be put to bed before she collapses – and waited up a few more minutes for the rest of the family to get home from late dinner.
