A Spot of Shopping
Up at m usual ridiculous hour, even though it was a weekend. Kids were vastly nruly this morning – so much so that there were some timeouts so they wouldn’t wake mom up. Normal, I guess. But they have to learn consideration somehow. Most of my day went for coding today, but I did take a couple of breaks. I got out to the back yard and whacked down the last of the tall grass; it’s not really going to look like a lawn out there until after the new sod goes in, but at least it looks less like a jungle now. I also ran out to Lowe’s and WalMart for some odds and ends, including a dwarf flowering pum to fill in one hole in our landscaping and a basketball.
Dana went out for her own errands in the afternoon. While she was out, Adam and I went out and messed around with the basketball a bit, finally making use of the hoop next to the driveway.
Dinner was roast pork loin, mashed potatoes, and baked beans, with salads on the side.
After dinner, I did some more coding and deployed a site, then put kids to bed and crashed.
