Back to Work
Oddly enough, this morning it was Dana who was wide awake at 5:30. So we had a bit of time together before the kids woke up.
Schoolwork went fairly well this morning, with the kids getting through everything eventually. Adam is still taking an enormous amount of time with the report that he’s working on, but that’s because he insists on putting in everything and doing it in cursive, so I can’t really complain.
I got a fair amount of programming work done today, which was a good thing – there haven’t been enough billable hours lately. I did pause in the middle of the day to run out to the bank and the grocery store, but other than that, I was largely parked at my desk.
Dana took Adam off to karate tonight, and the rest of us had pizza as usual. Then I sat and coded while the kids watched movies till bedtime.
