Mothers Day, with Rain
It was a rainy and windy day today. In fact, it was so windy that a couple of the new trees developed about a 20 degree list over the course of the day. We’ll have to have the landscapers correct that when they show up again. It was mother’s day, so the kids started out by making cards and breakfast and then bringing both to mom in bed, along with candy and newspaper. Then we settled down for our usual plan – kids running around, me working on the computer.
I got a decent amount of coding done today, and shipped off a feature to the client. I also managed to pull together most of the contract we’ll need for Dana’s new site launch, which is coming up fast. So it was a reasonably productive weekend.
Ended up taking a long nap in the afternoon. Too many late nights and early mornings.
For dinner, we had jambalaya, salad, corn on the cob, and snow peas with mushrooms.
