Monday. Bah.

It was a bad night with Lindsey. For some reason she woke up at 3AM and insisted that she didn’t want to go to sleep; she was also a screaming crying incoherent baby. I lay down with her and she eventually settled a bit, but she didn’t really get soundly back to sleep until 6AM – when I got up. Dana went off to her scrapbooking meeting a bit later in the morning, taking Thomas with her – Lindsey was still asleep and Kayla hadn’t finished her schoolwork. The other kids played and schooled and generally had their morning.

Meanwhile I was creaking into action as best I could, though it was a pretty unproductive day. I did poke at a couple of projects without making any great progress. At least I got some pretty good writing done in the morning.

For dinner, I made baked chicken breasts with tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, and parmesan cheese. This turned out well, served with garlic bread, salad, and fruit for the kids.

After dinner, I invested a bit of time in cleaning up our area of Second Life; we’re getting ready to sell off a bunch of it and pull back. Recent changes there have made it just Not Fun any more, and it doesn’t seem to be a good use of time and money. So it goes.
