Unremarkable Day

I was up 6ish again, and spent the morning getting kids through breakfasts and schoolwork as usual. Thomas did much better on his reading today; he’s still of an age where his attention varies vastly from day to day. After a bit of bookkeeping and writing, I settled down for another bout of coding. Today’s tasks included a long discussion with a CSS designer about needed tweaks to one site I’m working on, implementing a few features on another site, and cleaning up page design on a third. I’ve still got enough work to fill my time without feeling completely overwhelmed, which is good.

For dinner, I came up with meatballs, green beans, noodles, and salad. Everyone ate except for Lindsey, who apparently was off on some schedule of her very own.

Dana was off to a night out with the girls after dinner. While she was gone I set up a new Time Capsule to act as a wireless access point for her MacBook. Then it was time to put the older kids to bed, feed Lindsey (who was suddenly pronouncing herself hungry), and head on upstairs with her myself.
