Landscapers Ho
I was back at my desk around 6AM as usual. We had light schoolwork this morning. The kids are planning a lemonade stand for the community garage sale this coming weekend, so we spent today’s school time making and taste-testing various lemonade recipes. Later in the morning the first batch of landscapers showed up and got to work. This got me to run out and mow one side of the yard where they’re putting in a bed. They spent a good chunk of today cutting out sod and laying weed barrier in the spot where the kids’ play structure will go (and I also ordered that today).
Worked on this and that and made steady progress during the day.
Dana and Adam were off to their usual karate class tonight, and the rest of us had our usual pizza. The evening was uneventful and they got home just in time for Adam to be here for the bedtime story.
