IHOP night
Thomas got me up around 6:15 this morning, starting off another fine weekend day. Much of my first hour or two up went to feeding kids and getting them pointed at playtime for the morning. Then I dug back into the computer. Much of today went for coding on the major feature I’ve been working on. I put in a good solid day, and deployed the first version tonight, so that felt good.
In the evening, we took the kids out to IHOP for dinner. Thomas ate everything on his plate, half of what was on mine and selected portions of his mother’s dinner as well. Then he had dessert and pronounced himself still hungry. I have no idea where he puts it all. I had a cup of real coffee myself – the first one out in years.
Back home, the kids watched a movie while Dana and I got in some more coding time. Then we crashed relatively early.
