Bunnies
I was up at 6AM and made my way down to our office. There I spied a bunny hopping across our front lawn. There was another one later in the day. This does not bode well for my hopes of raising some veggies here. Morning schoolwork lasted until lunch, as Adam was having another very bad day. Eventually we worked through the part that was making him throw tantrums, and we ended in good spirits, but it was certainly a long morning. Mom took the girls out with her to run some errands and Thomas had a long nap before lunch so it was a good deal of one-on-one time for eldest son and myself.
Late in the morning I spent a bit of time getting the brisket into the oven for its slow cook, and it promptly started filling the house with yummy smells.
The afternoon included a vendor briefing call (somewhat of a yawn) and a batch of IM chats and phone calls with the various folks I’m working for. Looks like I have enough to keep me busy for at least the next few days.
We had a somewhat early dinner – brisket, fingerling potatoes, corn, salad – and then I snuck off to the library book sale to buy another $7 bag of books. Stopped on the way home for milk, then worked for the rest of the evening.
