Kids and Code
Back up at 6 and back to the same old same old – trying to sort out code and keep kids code and entertained. Today wasn’t a school day, and it was raining again, so the kids spent most of it running around the house like wild animals and otherwise amusing themselves. Dana was out with her karate dojo a couple of times today; fortunately, the kids were really reasonably well-behaved. Meanwhile, I spent a good deal of time struggling with a PHP install on one server, and then FTP issues on another. Must have been my day for sysadmin stuff.
For dinner, I poached some chicken with mushrooms, garlic, and ginger and served it with rice and salad and pears. Turned out OK but not great; at least the kids ate.
Bedtime was mixed tonite. Thomas and Kayla would not quiet down for story despite several warnings and ended up missing some of Dr. Dolittle’s Circus on the night that we started it. Oh well.
