9 Gallons
I was up a bit before 6 and spent the morning on abbreviated schoolwork (which the kids appreciated) and struggling with writer’s block some more. At lunchtime I grabbed a sandwich and headed out to the Red Cross, where I donated another unit of platelets. That brings me to 9 gallons lifetime total, and keeps me on track to hit 10 later this year. I stopped off at our mail drop and the Wal-Mart on the way home for a few errands.
The rest of the day went mostly for coding. At dinnertime, I made meatballs with sausage gravy, salad, pierogies, and corn. Lindsey unfortunately had another long late nap, so when bedtime came around she didn’t want to go, but other than that the night was pretty routine. Well, except for another tremendous thunderstorm that sounded like it was going to blow the house down.
