Another Mac in the House
Got started at 5AM today and got a decent amount of writing work done before the kids woke up. It was “back to school day” here, so I was dreading homeschool a bit, but it went well. Even Thomas doesn’t seem to have slipped too much in reading on his week off. I started in on end of the month billings today, and wrote some code while Dana was out with the kids to a movie in the afternoon. She came home with kids plus a new MacBook Pro – her Rails project is getting more serious and it was time to get a machine for her to hold it on, as well as one that lets her work out of the house. That pretty much shot both of our productivitys for the rest of the day as I helped her get the software essentials installed.
Dinner was noodles and meat, salad, and peas. Kayla was having a bad food day and dragged hers out till almost bedtime, but eventually she ate. Lindsey never did want to go to bed, but I finally got her to sleep close to midnight.
